💭 Can an artist create without resources?
While studying artificial intelligence, I kept coming back to one fundamental question: if an artist has an idea but no means to realize it, can AI become a tool for creative expression?
Art has always been shaped by the tools available at a given time. From paintbrushes to film cameras, from digital software to 3D modeling, every medium has influenced the way artists tell stories and share emotions. AI is the latest addition to this evolution, but how far can it go in serving creativity rather than replacing it? With these thoughts in mind, I started an experiment: a dedicated Instagram channel, @alex_krajicek, where I explore AI-generated imagery and visual storytelling.
The project is inspired by the eerie charm of 1950s horror cinema and other visual influences that have shaped my artistic journey. The result is a fusion of classic aesthetics and modern technology, an exploration of how AI can be a bridge between imagination and execution.
The name Alex Krajicek comes from The X-Files, the enigmatic man who knew all the world’s secrets. This is his secret archive, a collection of unsettling imagery and forgotten nightmares, brought to life in a new way.
It’s an ongoing exploration, a personal challenge to see how far an artist can push the boundaries of creativity with AI as a collaborator rather than just a tool.
